About us – what we do and how to make contact

A thriving group of beekeepers, we have monthly meetings on the afternoon of the first Saturday in each month, an apiary with five hives used for teaching and demonstration purposes on the Canterbury campus of the University of Kent (by kind permission of the University) and a second teaching apiary with eight hives at a nearby farm.

The monthly meetings are well attended and vary between inspection of the teaching hives plus news/information sharing during the months when it is warm enough to open the hives, with talks and longer demonstrations during the later autumn and early winter.

If you would like to contact the branch for information about our activities or to learn more about becoming a beekeeper, please contact the Branch Secretary ( phone and email details below) in the first instance.

Our Facebook group can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/359167444256663/ and anyone is welcome to join.
